WHEN SHOULD I LOG INTO THE TRAINING? WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE, NEED TO LEAVE EARLY, OR MISS A PORTION OF THE MEETING?
Log in to the training 5-10 minutes prior to the start time to confirm access and admission. Participants who show up later than 15 minutes past the start time will not be admitted and asked to register for another session. Participants who leave prior to the close of the session, or miss more than 15 minutes of the training, will not receive a completion certificate.
TIME ZONES
Learners may register for the time zone of their choosing (ET, CT, MT, PT). Please confirm that you have registered for the correct time zone of your choosing.
ATTENDANCE: I WAS LISTED AS NOT PRESENT FOR THE COURSE. HOW DO I FIX THIS
Please reach out to the organizers or instructors of the course to have them amend your attendance. If you are not sure who they are, or for additional support, contact NNDITC at [email protected].
REGISTRATION CLOSED
Registration for Learning Collaboratives closes at 4pm EST the day prior to the session. We are unable to accommodate late registration. Please continue to check our website for upcoming Learning Collaborative sessions.
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION & GROUP REGISTRATION
- Individual registration is required. All participants should complete registration prior to training attendance. The registration confirmation will be linked to an individual participant’s name and should only be used by one registrant.
- Use of individual computer with functional web-camera, microphone, and an appropriate professional background is required.
- The training may involve breakout sessions in which individual learners will be moved into separate virtual rooms. This means that “group attendance through a single registration or single computer” will not support the functionality of the training experience and thus is not acceptable.
ZOOM LINKS
Zoom links will be shared in the session enrollment confirmation email. Zoom links are not to be shared. Participants must register individually to receive the session’s Zoom information.
CHANGING SESSIONS
- Click here to access a list of your courses within the NCSD Learning Center. You will need to log in.
- Click on the Learning Collaborative (LC) you’d like to change session for.
- Scroll down to see the Choose Session part of the course. Click View.
- Click Change Session.
- Click Enroll for a different session.

Technical Requirements
WHAT EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND A TRAINING SESSION
Learning collaboratives will be conducted in a virtual classroom environment. The sessions are live and will be instructor-led. Admission to the learning collaborative requires:
- Access to individual computer, equipped with a web-camera, microphone, and ZOOM video conferencing software.
- Participants must join the ZOOM live classroom settings from either computer audio or call-in audio.
- Shared computers and cellular devices do not have all the functionalities necessary for participation in the interactive virtual classroom sessions.
- Pre-registration reflecting your name and organizational affiliation. You will receive a registration link that can only be used by one registrant.
- ZOOM video conferencing software. You will need to ensure that you can access and navigate the Zoom platform prior to the meeting. Please see the following link for assistance in setting up Zoom. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-Zoom-meeting
ZOOM LINKS
Zoom links will be shared in the session enrollment confirmation email. Zoom links are not to be shared. Participants must register individually to receive the session’s Zoom information.
WHAT ARE THE AUDIO, VISUAL, AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS FOR ATTENDING A TRAINING?
Participants must join the ZOOM live classroom settings from either computer audio or call-in audio. Participants should ensure an appropriate professional background or virtual Zoom background. Sessions require video and audio participation, and sometimes virtual backgrounds can use a lot of bandwidth slowing a participant’s internet. It may be necessary to discontinue use of a virtual background to participate in “real-time” engagement, so participants should ensure an appropriate background setting (e.g., wall as opposed to common shared area).
DO MY CAMERA AND MICROPHONE HAVE TO BE ON?
Yes. Sessions require video and audio participation to ensure maximum learning and engagement.
I HAVE A SLOW ZOOM CONNECTION, WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE?
Sometimes virtual backgrounds can use a lot of bandwidth slowing participants internet. It may be necessary to discontinue use of a virtual background to participate in “real-time” engagement, so participants should ensure an appropriate background setting (e.g., wall as opposed to common shared area).
WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF I’M HAVING ISSUES LOGGING IN?
If participants have any access challenges entering or during the training, they should contact the training coordinating center (who sent the registration confirmation email) at [email protected] and/or regional DITC training center (hosting the training).
- Region 1 Contacts: [email protected] and [email protected].
- Region 2 Contacts: [email protected] and [email protected].
- Region 3 Contacts: [email protected] and [email protected].
- Region 4 Contacts: [email protected] and [email protected].
